Let creative inspiration flow as you gaze upon more than 30 special, handcrafted works of art at The Helen Keller Art Show of Alabama in Decatur. The traveling juried art exhibit is displayed throughout the state each year.
The exhibit showcases original artwork created by Alabama students who have visual impairments, blindness and deaf-blindness. The students create a wide range of works using various mediums.
The Helen Keller Art Show free exhibit opened to the public on Thursday, July 13th. The Walking Gallery’s halls will continue to remain a vibrant, colorful display, full of one-of-a-kind masterpieces, through Tuesday, Sept. 5th.
Did you know the Alabama Center for the Arts has proudly displayed the annual traveling exhibit since 2019? It’s true!
