Paintings, ceramics, metalwork, and so much more—the River Clay Fine Arts Festival prides itself on celebrating all kinds of art. Whether you like to create or you just like to appreciate, you’ll love seeing all of the amazing works present. And, if you feel attached to a particular piece, you may be able to buy it too!
What can I do at the festival?
It’s not just about art—but it sure has a lot of cool pieces to see and buy. In addition to the works for sale, the festival will also feature:
- Food trucks;
- A juried art show;
- A chalk art competition;
- Live music; and
- Children’s art activities.
You deserve a great weekend! Luckily, that’s just what you’ll find at the River Clay Fine Arts Festival. It starts on October 16 at 9 a.m. and wraps up for the day at 5 p.m. Then, it returns the next day on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Find it at the City Hall Lawn in Historic Downtown Decatur. You can plug it into your GPS as 402 Lee St. NE. That’s only 4.4 miles from Summer Courtyard!
